By accessing or using Tectonic Grand at www.tectonicgrand.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Use of Service

Tectonic Grand is a free online strategy game. You may use it for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when registering
• Not create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use cheats, bots, scripts, or other automated tools to play the game
• Deliberately disconnect to avoid losing a rated game
• Harass or abuse other players
• Attempt to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the game
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

4. Ratings and Leaderboards

Your Elo rating is calculated based on your game results in rated multiplayer matches. We reserve the right to adjust or reset ratings in cases of suspected cheating or abuse. Classic and Blitz ratings are tracked separately.

5. Guest Play

You may play as a guest without creating an account. Guest play is unrated — no Elo changes are recorded. Game history is not saved for guests.

6. Intellectual Property

All game content, including but not limited to the game name, logo, piece designs, board design, and game mechanics, are the property of Tectonic Grand. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

Tectonic Grand is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times, error-free, or secure. We are not liable for any loss of data, ratings, or progress due to technical issues.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your own account at any time via your profile settings.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
